Under Part 8 of the Treaty Act, the Minister for Aboriginal Affairs is required to prepare an annual report on the work of the State in advancing the treaty process.
On 9 December 2019, the First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria (Assembly) was declared to be the Aboriginal Representative Body in accordance with section 11 of the Treaty Act.
