About NAIDOC Week
In 1957, the National Aboriginal Day Observance Committee (NAIDOC) was created. This ignited a proud tradition of honouring First Nations culture in Australia.
This year's theme is "50 Years of Deadly." This theme marks a milestone and is tribute to the people who built the movement and acknowleges those continuing to lead change across every field, from health and education to media, business, and the arts.
More information about NAIDOC events and this year's theme can be found on the national NAIDOC website.
